This is my second full knee replacement performed by Mr Berber. I can unreservedly say that I have every confidence in him as a consultant surgeon. Moreover, I find him to be a caring an approachable person. He is clearly very passionate about his work, and ensures that the best outcomes are achieved for his patients.

I had been suffering from knee pain for some years having had an active sports life for over 40 years, to be expected, however during the summer of 2022 the pain became obtrusive and uncomfortable as sleep was impossible. I self referred to Mr Berber after reading up about him, in October 22. The appointment, at my local hospital The Park, was an excellent and reassuring experience, the action required, immediate and I had a partial knee replacement in November 22. I am now at the end of my referral period, and have excellent movement with some residual pain that Mr Berber assures me will dissipate, within the coming weeks as I achieve more daily use. I also have an open appointment to reassure me as these final weeks go by, which I feel is an excellent option, should I need it in the future. I am very pleased to have chosen Mr Berber. Good decision all round I feel. Thank you to Mr Berber and his team.

From start to finish meeting with Mr Burber was very agreeable and could'nt of been better. The information he gave was spoken at a level i understood and didnt speak as though he was above me. Can not thing of anything to better the experience. I would highly recommend Mr Burber and the sevice he provided to anyone.

All in all, everything was first class. Mr Berber explained everything that was to happen in great detail. For my first operation at the end of July, he visited me twice in my room to keep me updated on when the surgery would take place and after I left recovery, he came once more to my room to check that everything was going well before he left the hospital for the day. My second operation at the beginning of November was performed in the morning session, but Mr Berber still checked after the operation that all was well. These were the first times I had been in hospital for operations but I would have no fear, in the future, if the need arose that I might have to be admitted again for a procedure. Mr Berber spoke more as a friend than a surgeon - such a quality not too many people have nowadays. I was so pleased I had someone so kind looking after me and thank him so much for all his care.
